How many drones can Aerora handle in one show?
We pride ourselves on our ability to handle any drone light show, no matter how big or small. We have the technology and expertise to control and coordinate multiple drones simultaneously, without any limits. Our team will work with you to determine the ideal number of drones for your event and ensure that all components, such as laptops, network routers, radio transmitters, chargers, and logistics, can handle the drone count you have in mind.
How long does it take from client application to fully functioning drone show?
In order to conduct a drone show, we obtain the necessary permits from the responsible aviation authority. Depending on actual present-day workload, we require two to four weeks for the design process. This can be shortened if we utilize more prefabricated elements, rather than pure customization. We highly recommend at least two months to ensure a professional design process that incorporates your feedback and meets your expectations. At Aerora, we are committed to delivering a flawless drone light show that will leave a lasting impression on your audience.
Where are drone shows from Aerora available?
We strive to make anything possible. As aviation laws are standardized across Europe, we can easily obtain the necessary approvals to conduct drone shows in other countries with our existing permits. Drone shows internationally are not an issue as well; we just need some extra time in order to get the right permits, which will come with an extra cost. How much space is required for an average drone show?
The required safety zone for a drone light show largely depends on the flight altitude of the drones used. At Aerora, we prioritize safety and adhere to the standards set by aviation authorities to ensure that our drone shows are executed without any mishaps. We require a safety zone around the performance space where no bystanders are allowed. This safety buffer must be cordoned off for the duration of the show to prevent any possible safety hazards. The aviation authorities mandate this safety buffer as a precautionary measure for the worst-case scenario.

How many drones are required for my event?
Each drone can be seen as a single point of light (a pixel), contributing to a 2D or 3D image. The appropriate number of drones needed for an event is dependent on the desired quality of the image. For instance, creating a single letter may require 15 drones. We are available to assist in determining the optimal number of drones needed for your specific event.
What about sustainability?
Our drone shows are eco-friendly, as they are reusable and leave behind no waste, making them a sustainable alternative to traditional fireworks. Unlike fireworks, our drones produce a low humming sound during the performance that does not pose any risk to humans or animals.
